John Beacher is a gifted contemporary singer-songwriter, performer, and an original artist from New Hope, PA (formerly of Boulder, CO). Beacher’s music is soulful and thought provoking, with a great attention to lyrical prose and melody.  As he bends and moves through genres, he creates a truly familiar and genuine depiction of the human experience that instantly grabs the listener.  A dynamic vocalist and natural performer,  Beacher is capable of bringing his songs to life in a way few performers can.  His spontinaity and improvisational scatting ability leaves spectators with a feeling that they are truly apart of something special.  In the last year John has been touring the country from his home in New Hope PA to Boulder Colorado and many places in between.  He has also appeared on several radio programs including twice on the nationally syndicated Gene Shay show and as a featured local artists on Helen Leicht’s “Live at Lunch” both on WXPN.  A community organizer and a promoter, Beacher has built a big following locally through his yearly events and wildly popular Community Stage, which he holds weekly at Karla’s in New Hope, PA. The community stage is gaining a reputation of being one of the best run open stages in the Philadelphia area and has a great following of local troubadours that come back week after week to perform.  After releasing his debut self titled acoustic album which was done at the cutting room studios in Manhattan, Beacher joined forces with Louis Sparre of Electric Tweed Productions in creating his first official music video “Dance With Me” as well as a myriad of other live videos. The duo plans to continue their creative momentum by releasing another video for Beacher’s up coming single “You”  coming in the spring of 2013.  John has shared stages with acts such as Leon Russell, Marshall Tucker, Elephant Revival, Rose Hill Drive, Hogmaw, and many more and has begun to make a name for himself as a powerful and dynamic musical force.  Look for John Beacher to be touring soon in a town near you.
